Who this guide is for
This documentation is written for the people who use Kreativlo, not for the people who build it. Nothing in it requires you to understand technology. If you find a sentence that feels too technical, that is our mistake — tell us.
Four kinds of reader
Kreativlo is used by people with very different needs. The same guide will not suit all four, so start from your row.
Employees
You use Kreativlo for yourself: clocking in and out, requesting leave or overtime, checking payslips, filling in performance reviews.
You do not need to read the settings or administration sections. Start at Signing in, then go straight to the Kreativstaff guide.
Managers
On top of everything an employee does, you also decide your team's requests — approving or rejecting leave, overtime, claims — and assess your reports.
The sections you will open most often are Approvals and Team Review.
HR, Finance, and administrators
You are the ones who set the system up: adding employees, defining leave policy, running payroll, designing review programmes.
You need to read more. Beyond the guide for each menu, How the system works will save you a lot of time — it explains why the system behaves the way you see it.
Company owners
You decide which modules to buy, who may access what, and you handle billing.
Start at How the system works and the module catalogue.
How this guide is organised
| Section | What is in it | When to open it |
|---|---|---|
| Getting started | Signing in, the shape of the screen, basic terms | Once, at the beginning |
| How it works | The ideas behind the system: one sign-in, module subscriptions, roles and access | When something behaves unexpectedly |
| Modules | What is available and what each does | When considering a new module |
| Kreativstaff | Using each HR menu, screen by screen | Day to day |
| Help | Error messages, questions, how to reach us | When you get stuck |
One thing that applies throughout
A menu you cannot see is not broken. Kreativlo shows only what you are allowed to open, based on the role your company administrator gave you. If this guide mentions a page that is not on your screen, your role most likely does not cover it — the full explanation is here.
