How the system is shaped
This page explains the overall shape of Kreativlo. Reading it once makes a lot of otherwise puzzling behaviour make sense.
One portal, many applications
Kreativlo is not one large application but a set of independent applications sharing a single front door.
The portal owns three things that apply to every module:
| What the portal holds | What it means for you |
|---|---|
| Identity | One email and one password for every application |
| Subscriptions | Which modules your company may open |
| Roles | Who may see and change what |
Everything else belongs to the individual module. Attendance data lives in Kreativstaff, sales data in Kanari, and neither can see the other.
Why separate them?
So that you only pay for what you use. A company that needs HR alone should not carry the weight of an accounting module it never opens.
Two consequences follow, and both are deliberate:
- Modules you do not subscribe to do not appear — they are not hidden, they genuinely are not active for your company.
- Data does not flow between modules automatically. Payroll results in Kreativstaff do not become journal entries in Finara by themselves. See the module catalogue for a straight answer.
Three layers decide what you see
Every time you open a page, three questions are answered in order. If any answer is no, the page does not open.
Telling the three apart saves a lot of time when something is wrong:
| Symptom | Which layer refused | Who can fix it |
|---|---|---|
| Asked to sign in repeatedly | 1 — session | You (enable cookies) |
| Every module gone from the launcher | 2 — subscription | The company owner |
| Module present, one menu missing | 3 — role | The company administrator |
Whose data you see
The company is the data boundary. Every record in Kreativlo — employee, transaction, document — belongs to exactly one company.
If your account belongs to two companies, you switch between them through the account menu, and the entire screen changes. No view mixes two companies' data.
The single exception is the group console, which shows summary figures for several companies side by side to a group owner — and even there, what appears is a summary, never the underlying records. More.
What runs where
You do not need to install anything. Kreativlo runs in a browser, and its data lives on our servers — not on your computer.
All you need is:
- A modern browser (recent Chrome, Edge, Safari, or Firefox)
- An internet connection
- For location-based attendance: browser location permission, or the Kreatime app on your phone
Next
One sign-in for everything — why your password is only ever asked for at one address.
Modules à la carte — why a module might not appear.
Roles and access — why your screen differs from a colleague's.
The portal, screen by screen — using each portal page.
