What stays separate per company
Group authority grants no access to company data
A group role only opens this console. To work inside a company — see its employees, approve its leave — you still need a seat there, with an appropriate role.
This is deliberate: a group owner may have no right to see individual salary data at a subsidiary, and the system offers no shortcut around it.
What remains each company's own: employee and transaction data, subscription plan, seat count, invoices, and roles and access.
Three levels of group authority

Consolidated reporting
Assembled from each company's separate answer, then placed side by side.
What appears is a summary, not the underlying records — and it is still filtered by your subscription and permissions at each company. Companies you have no right to see are simply not counted.
Adding a company
A new company added to a paid group becomes active immediately with an aligned expiry date — but with no modules at all.
Its modules are bought separately through that company's own billing page.
