Company groups
One Kreativlo customer can hold several business entities at once — for instance a holding with three companies beneath it. The company group feature exists for exactly that.
Its shape
A group is an administrative umbrella, not a place where data is stored. Each company beneath it remains entirely independent.
What stays separate per company
This is the most important part to understand, because it is often misread:
| Item | Belongs to |
|---|---|
| Employee data, attendance, payroll, transactions | The company, never the group |
| Subscription plan and purchased modules | The company — each entity buys its own |
| Seat count | The company |
| Invoices and payments | The company |
| Roles and access | The company |
In practice: PT Bahari can subscribe to Fleet while PT Cendana does not, and each receives its own invoice.
Group authority grants no access to company data
Group-level authority only opens the group console. To work inside a company — see its employees, approve its leave — you still need a seat there, with an appropriate role.
This is deliberate. A group owner may have no right to see individual salary data at a subsidiary, and the system offers no shortcut around that.
What the group console shows
The group console (Portal → Group) shows:
- A list of companies with their plan, expiry date, member count, and active modules
- A cross-company people directory — who holds a seat where. It lists only people at companies where you are entitled to manage members.
- Consolidated reporting — summary figures from each company, side by side
Consolidated reports are assembled from each company's separate answer and then placed alongside each other. What appears is a summary, not the underlying records, and it is still filtered by your subscription and permissions at each company — companies you have no right to see are simply not counted.
Three levels of group authority
| Group role | May |
|---|---|
| Group owner | Add and detach companies, set group authority, view all reports |
| Group administrator | View all reports; not change the group's composition |
| Group viewer | View reports only |
Trials for groups
A group on trial may hold at most 3 companies, and all three share a single expiry date.
This matters: adding a third company on day 12 gives it the remaining 2 days, not a fresh 14. Without that rule, a trial could be extended indefinitely by adding companies.
The quota is one trial unit per account, where a unit means one trial group or one standalone trial company.
Adding a company to a paid group
A new company added to a paid group becomes active immediately, with an expiry date aligned to the group — but with no modules at all.
Its modules are bought separately through that company's own billing page. There is no new billing concept for groups; everything stays per company.
Standalone companies
A company does not have to join a group. Most customers have a single entity and never touch this feature.
If you later add a second entity, the existing company can be brought into a new group without losing anything.
Detaching a company
Detaching deletes nothing. All members, data, and subscriptions stay intact — the company simply stands on its own again.
