Modules à la carte
Every Kreativlo module is sold separately. Your company decides which to buy, and only those are active.
What "à la carte" means
There is no all-or-nothing bundle. A company that only needs HR buys Kreativstaff alone; one that needs HR and finance buys both.
| Question | Answer |
|---|---|
| Can we buy a single module? | Yes. No module requires another. |
| Can we add modules later? | Yes, at any time. Running ones are unaffected. |
| Can we stop one module? | Yes. The others keep running. |
| Does stopping delete the data? | No. The data stays; only the module stops opening. |
Why a module might not appear
The app launcher shows only modules that are active for your company.
Note there are two different reasons a module might be absent, and each needs a different person to resolve:
| Cause | Who can fix it |
|---|---|
| The company does not subscribe to that module | The company owner — through the billing page |
| The company subscribes, but your role does not cover it | The company administrator — through member settings |
If a colleague can see a module and you cannot, it is always the second.
What happens when a subscription lapses
Before it lapses — a warning appears in the portal several days ahead.
A 3-day grace period — the applications still open fully, with an increasingly clear warning. This is room to renew without disrupting work.
Locked — the modules will not open. The billing page and account settings stay open, because that is where the problem gets fixed.
Your data is not deleted when a module locks
Locking only closes the door. Every record — employees, attendance, payroll history — stays intact, and reappears the moment the subscription is renewed.
Independent modules: the trade-off
Module independence means you only pay for what you use. The price is that data does not move between modules on its own.
A concrete example: after payroll is finalised in Kreativstaff, the figures do not automatically become journal entries in Finara. If you use both and want those figures in the books, today that means exporting from Kreativstaff and importing into Finara.
Automatic movement is on the roadmap but not yet available. We mention it here so nobody buys two modules believing they are already connected.
What does work across modules today:
- One sign-in for everything
- One list of members, roles, and organisation structure
- Consolidated reporting across companies in the group console
Adding a module
Only the company owner can buy. From the portal: account menu → Billing → choose a module → pay. The module activates as soon as payment is confirmed in full.
