Kreatime — the phone app

Kreatime is the phone application for daily attendance, part of the Kreativstaff module. It was built specifically for things that are easier on a phone than on a computer.

Team management, payroll, and performance assessment stay in the web app — Kreatime is intentionally for your own affairs.

Who can use it

Anyone with a Kreativlo account who is registered as an employee at a company subscribing to Kreativstaff.

Sign-in uses exactly the same account as the web — the same email and password, including two-step verification and Google sign-in if your company enables them.

Permissions it asks for

Kreatime asks for several device permissions. All of them serve attendance, and all of them can be refused — with consequences:

About your face data

Face enrolment stores data used to match your selfie at clock-in. It is used only for that, and only at the company where you are registered.

You can re-enrol your face at any time from the attendance menu.

What HR must set up first

An employee cannot clock in at all — on the web or in Kreatime — until HR assigns two things to them:

• The office they work from, with its point and radius
• The shift or work schedule

When a new employee reports being unable to clock in, this is the first thing to check, not their device permissions or their role.

Both use the same data. A clock-in from the phone is immediately visible on the web, and the other way round.

Downloading

Kreatime is available for Android and iOS. The download links appear in the Kreativlo portal once you sign in.

When something goes wrong

What you experience	What to do
"Not part of any company"	Ask an administrator to invite you, or check you signed in with the right email
Cannot clock in, the button is dead	Check attendance opening hours; contact HR if office or shift are unset
"Outside the office area" while you are at the office	Enable high-accuracy location; wait for a stable signal; ask HR if the radius is too tight
Face not recognised	Re-enrol your face somewhere well lit
No notifications arrive	Enable notification permission in your phone settings
