Reads text from an image: an identity card, or any document that needs turning into text.

Processed on your device

The images you scan are not sent to a server. All reading happens in your own browser.

That is deliberate: identity documents are personal data best not travelling any further than necessary.

The consequence is that the first scan needs a moment to load its components, and speed depends on your device.

The reading result can be copied straight into the employee data form.

Always check the reading

Automatic reading often errs on similar-looking digits and on documents photographed unclearly.

A mistyped identity number causes trouble later — check it digit by digit before saving.

Document to text

Turns a scanned image or PDF into text that can be copied and searched, or into a PDF whose contents can be searched while looking exactly like the original. If the PDF already has real text (not a scan), that text is read directly with no re-reading needed — perfectly accurate in that case.

Now reads Indonesian and English text at once

Useful for mixed documents — an employment contract with English legal terms, an international certificate, or a foreign employee's paperwork.

Redaction genuinely erases, it does not just cover up

A marked page is redrawn as an image, so the text underneath is truly gone — not merely hidden behind a black box someone else could remove or select through. Pages with no marks are left completely unchanged.

The only tool in the Tools menu that can save

The PDF Toolkit has a Save to employee documents button, which places the result into an employee's files.

No other Tools page saves anything.
