Goals
Work targets with periodic check-ins. Two tabs: My goals and Team / Organisation.
Goals are not an assessment
Goals are a direction for work, not a tool for judging people. They do not enter the KPI score and do not affect pay.
Using them as a basis for assessment leads people to set targets that are easy to reach — which removes their entire purpose.
Creating a goal
A goal holds what you want to achieve, how it is measured, and its deadline.
Goals can be linked to a goal above them, making it visible how one person's work connects to a unit or company objective.
Check-ins
Periodic updates against a goal: how far along it is, what is blocking it, what comes next.
An honest check-in is more useful than a flattering one
A stalled goal reported as stalled can still be helped. A stalled goal reported as "on track" is only discovered at the end of the period, when it is too late.
The Team / Organisation tab
Seeing your team's or the whole company's goals, to make sure no work overlaps and no objective has been left unclaimed.
