Leave simulation

The most-used one, when an employee asks "if I take leave from this date to that date, how many days does it cost me?"

The simulation accounts for weekends and for holidays already in the calendar.

If the result differs from a real request

There is most likely a holiday missing from the Holiday Calendar.

The calculator and the request form read the same calendar — if the two disagree, it is usually the calendar that is wrong.

Service and proration

Useful when taking on an employee mid-year: how much leave entitlement they should receive for that year.

The result follows the proration setting in the Leave Policy — if proration is switched off there, this calculator is only a point of reference, not a reflection of what applies.
